I am a psychoanalytically trained therapist who integrates talk therapy with attachment-focused EMDR. I have 20 years of experience as a therapist, and before that, I worked in corporate America and with law firms, developing management curriculums. I am the author of two children's books (The Leader of the Parade: An Adlerian Educational Tool and Activity Guide and Bubbles, Balloons and Birds: Learning to Thrive- Helping Kids Cope with Adversity). I am a professor at NYU. I own a group therapy practice and love helping people. My specialty is working with people who suffer from trauma and low self-esteem. I offer a spiritual aspect to healing for those interested. My practice teaches the healing power of self-compassion. A book I recommend to my clients is Trusting the Gold by Tara Brach. I offer both in-person and virtual sessions. I would love to hear from you!
