I am a relational, psychodynamic and somatic therapist with ten years of experience. I attended the Smith College School for Social Work and have worked in a wide variety of community mental health settings since then. My experience includes working with school aged children, teens, transition-aged youth, adults, and elders. I have also helped train and supervise new therapists in a community mental health clinic.
One of the therapy approaches I have found to be most transformative is Attachment-Focused EMDR. When a pattern feels intractable, AF-EMDR can help you get in touch with your innate wisdom, nurturance, and capacity to protect yourself, allowing for new ways of feeling, thinking, and experiencing yourself and the world. Trauma becomes less impactful as you gain distance and a sense of new possibilities for the future.
I strive to use a feminist, anti-racist, anti-oppression lens in my work. I believe that our environments, identities, and how we move through the world impacts how we understand the world, our mental health and how we heal. Please contact me to partner together to help build your resilience.
