I practice integrative psychotherapy, drawing primarily from relational and attachment perspectives and EMDR. My work may also include mindfulness, other experiential therapies, and parts work as indicated. I am particularly interested in working with developmental trauma, especially ways that early experiences have informed the adults’ sense of self-in-the-world. I often focus on non-verbal, emotional and/or embodied experiences and communications. I also work with adults who have experienced single-incident Trauma and may have PTSD. EMDR has really impacted the way I work — and I love sharing it.
I have had a private practice with adults in New York for over 25 years. I am a graduate of the Parnell Institute for Attachment-Focused EMDR. In addition to being a certified therapist and approved consultant, I am on the faculty of the Parnell Institute. I also have a certificate in psychoanalysis and have taught and supervised at several psychoanalytic institutes in NYC.
