Joclyn specializes in working with perinatal mental health as a Family Support Counselor with Providence Alaska Children’s Hospital. She is the Chairperson of the Board of Directors for Postpartum Support International, Alaska Chapter (PSI-AK). She also volunteers for PSI as a local coordinator. She has been a social worker since 2001, and graduated from University of Maryland, Baltimore School of Social Work in 2003. In addition to providing individual therapy, she teaches Happiest Baby on the Block classes and facilitates the Monday Mamas Support Group at Providence. Joclyn represents Alaska for the National Association of Perinatal Social Workers. Most recently, Joclyn joined the Alaska Perinatal Quality Collaborative (AKPQC) as faculty for the Substance Affected Pregnancies Initiative. Joclyn is married and parenting three school-aged boys.
