I began my career with an MBA working on Wall Street. It was during that time I became interested in human behavior in the workplace. Since 1995 I’ve been practicing as an LCSW and received my MSW from Columbia University. I’m an Attachment Focused EMDR therapist, Internal Family Systems therapist (IFS) Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SE) and Group therapist. My practice focuses on treating trauma, sexual addiction/compulsivity, alcohol/substance abuse, difficulties with attachment, intimacy/relationships, codependency/co-addiction and career/workplace issues. In addition, I have a specialty working with gay men’s health and wellbeing.
I lead a weekly gay men’s therapy group where members practice having new experiences relating to one another in the here and now. I also run a weekly therapy group for gay men struggling with drug and/or alcohol linked sexual behavior. Members also practice relating to one another and defining their sexual health.
My office is located in the Union Square neighborhood of New York City.
