Dianne Gallo, LCSW is a New York City-based psychotherapist. She specializes in working with young adults and highly sensitive people (HSPs).
A graduate of Brandeis University and Smith College School for Social Work, Dianne has worked as a therapist in a range of settings since 2014, including community mental health in New York City, San Francisco International High School, and Vassar College. Dianne completed training in post-abortion counseling with Exhale Pro Voice, and participated in GenSex, an anti-oppression workshop for people of all identities about sexuality, gender, consent, and privilege. She has completed trainings in yoga, mindfulness, and other somatic healing practices.
Before becoming a therapist, Dianne worked for several years in international women’s rights and trauma-informed nutrition and food security, served as a volunteer at the edible schoolyard in Berkeley, California, and taught at a bilingual school in Madrid, Spain.
Dianne draws from all of these experiences to support her clients with deep respect for each person’s inherent dignity, complexity, and potential.
