I have worked for over 35 years in the mental health field, starting out with children, adolescents and families, and individual adults beginning in community mental health clinics in the mid 1980’s. I received a Certificate in Advanced Child Therapy, from the Jewish Board of Family and Children’s Services. where I also trained social work staff, and social work graduate interns; Adjunct Faculty, Field Advisor, Columbia University School of Social Work.
Psychotherapy training: certificate in Gestalt Psychotherapy Gestalt Associates in NYC, also served on the Faculty; Supervisory training group with Larry Epstein, PhD, from William Alanson White Institute. I had the honor of working with the late Lew Aron, PhD, Director of NYU Postdoctoral Program in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis in a Relational study group for several years prior to his death.
