I am a Registered Psychologist who has previously enjoyed a 25-year career as a registered nurse in both Alberta and B.C., with experience ranging from critical care and cardiology to family medicine. Building upon my acute interest in biology and neurobiology, my focus is on the innate mind, body, and spiritual connection, as well as the impact of stress, and how self-awareness supports healing.
I fundamentally believe in healing and growth through a genuine, non-judgemental, and authentic connection, that is both client-focused and strength-based. I enjoy integrating several modalities into treatment including mindfulness, family systems, narrative, cognitive behavioural therapy, patterns of attachment, Polyvagal theory, and Attachment-focused EMDR.
