We all have the power to heal from hard times – even from trauma – it’s within us, it’s human. Sometimes we need another person to support us in our journey. I believe growth and change are always possible outcomes. I provide a safe place, thoughtful attention, and gentle encouragement to support hope, healing, and most importantly, a relationship with yourself that is loving. My goal is to help you increase self-awareness, self-compassion, and self agency – skills that help you understand yourself and your unique value in the world.
I consider my approach to be a feminist relational one. My focus is on adults working through current or historical events as well as various life transitions.
The understanding of a trusted and trained counselor can help us clarify our wants and needs and support peace of mind and confidence in our life choices. I hope you will reach out with questions about how we can work together to meet your personal goals. I am married and have 3 adult children. My interests include women's health including pregnancy, parenting, and humanitarian work.
