We thrive as individuals—and, in turn, collectively—when we feel safely connected to ourselves and to those around us.
I offer a warm, grounded, and compassionate approach, grounded in the belief that people can move through life’s difficulties when supported with care and understanding.
I spent ten years in San Francisco working as a psychotherapist, counsellor, group facilitator, supervisor, and trainer within an inner-city hospital setting. During the 1990s, I supported individuals living with and dying from HIV/AIDS, as well as their families—both chosen and biological.
Since returning to the UK, I have worked within NGOs and in private practice, integrating couples counselling informed by Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) with individual therapy supported by Attachment-Focused EMDR (AF-EMDR).
I hold a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and trained as a Marriage and Family Therapist in California.
By combining EFT and AF-EMDR, I support both healing and growth. EFT helps to identify and shift the relational patterns that can leave you feeling stuck or disconnected, while AF-EMDR gently addresses the deeper attachment wounds beneath them.
Together, these approaches create a safe, supportive space to strengthen your sense of security within yourself and to build more connected, fulfilling relationships.
