I am a seasoned psychotherapist with 20 years of experience working effectively with anxiety/stress, depression, early life trauma, relationship difficulties, and substance use concerns. My background includes work within community-based and private practice settings with individuals and couples from the LGBTQ + communities and diverse sociocultural backgrounds.

My work is strength-based and emphasizes the development of resilience, interpersonal skills, and ways to better manage challenging emotions, thoughts, and life circumstances. I use a variety of mind-body strategies that help clients better understand how their unresolved past impacts their present, to cultivate greater awareness of their needs and intentions, improve their confidence and self-esteem, and to live authentically.

A positive therapeutic relationship is one of the most important components of a successful therapy. I continuously strive to create an environment that allows clients to explore and process their concerns safely. In session, I am warm, interactive, and tailor my approach to the specific needs of clients. I am collaborative and always open to feedback to ensure an ideal learning environment.
