Caryn Markson, Ed.D is a Clinical Psychologist in private practice in Northampton, Massachusetts, working with individuals and couples. She has been in clinical practice for over 30 years combining systems thinking, ego state psychology, parts work, and psychoanalytic theory. She does long and short term therapy with a relational and spiritual approach, helping people heal through finding inner resources and strengths to guide them into the shift from past wounds to present capacity. Her goal is to help provide attuned, respectful guidance toward deep healing that is body, mind, and heart centered, always with healthy attachment in mind. In addition to her EMDR practice, she is a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, and has completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship with the Massachusetts Institute of Psychoanalysis. Dr. Markson facilitated EMDR Comprehensive and Advanced Trainings with Laurel Parnell from 2004 through 2015. She currently provides consultation for EMDR clinicians.
