Being human can be difficult —and nearly everyone can benefit from seeking therapeutic help at times.  I believe deeply in the healing power of therapy, because I’ve lived it.

My graduate training at Lesley University (MA, Counseling Psychology, 2004) was grounded in the person-centered, or Rogerian, model of psychotherapy—the belief that people already carry the capacity for self-understanding and growth, and that the right therapeutic relationship can help foster it.  That philosophy still sits at the core of how I work, even as I’ve studied and trained in a wide range of other healing approaches over the past two decades.  I’ve been a Certified Sexual Assault Victims Counselor since 2009 and spent a decade working in rape crisis treatment and rape prevention education, so I have a specialization in supporting survivors of sexual trauma.   I draw on a wide variety of trauma-informed, somatic, and creative arts modalities—including iRest Yoga Nidra, trauma-informed expressive arts, guided drawing, trauma-informed yoga, and mindfulness and self-compassion practices—all of which have significantly shaped my clinical work and my own personal recovery.

In addition to Attachment Focused EMDR basic training with Dr. Parnell, I bring extensive training in polyvagal theory (Deb Dana), and am Certified as a Safe and Sound Protocol and Rest and Restore Protocol Provider through Unyte Health.  I am Post-Induction Therapy trained (also known as The Meadows Model, developed by Pia Mellody) and previously held Certification as a Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) through the International Institute of Trauma & Addiction Professionals from 2022-2026.

In my current practice, I primarily work with adults navigating childhood trauma, codependency, relationship struggles, love addiction recovery, adult-diagnosed ADHD/Autism, and phase of life transitions like menopause, job loss, or relocation. I especially love working with women, fellow therapists, creatives, lesbians, and nonconformists of all kinds.

If any of this resonates with what’s brought you here, I’d love to connect and talk about how I may be able to support you. Please reach out with any questions or to schedule a free initial consultation.
