I’ve been personally involved with EMDR since its infancy. After receiving direct training from its founder, Dr. Francine Shapiro, I was really taken by EMDR’s transformative power.

Laurel Parnell, PhD, is a clinical psychologist and director of the Parnell Institute for Attachment-Focused EMDR. Here is the path towards Certification in Attachment-Focused EMDR at the Parnell Institute.
You must take Parts 1 & 2 of the Basic Training, then complete ten hours of small group consultation (which is completed over six to seven months with a Parnell Approved Consultant), then, Part 3 completes your Basic Training. After that time, you can begin the mentorship program for Certification.
In order to be fully trained as an Attachment-Focused EMDR therapist with the Parnell Institute, you need to take all 3 parts of Attachment-Focused EMDR training including 10 hours of small group consultation.
Parnell Institute’s Attachment-Focused is far more in-depth than other EMDR trainings and teaches higher level modalities. So, even if you have had EMDR trainings in the past, you will learn new things.
Our customers usually put the tuition on their credit card and pay them as they can. We can not offer payment plans as there is little to no profit in our training program to pay the processing fee for loan providers.
