Great relationships are built on trust and open communication. I believe that our relational well-being is the cornerstone of deeper connections and effective communication with others. With over 16 years of experience, I've dedicated my career to helping individuals, couples, and families have the opportunity to gain self-awareness, conquer trauma, and enhance relationships across all aspects of life.
I employ a range of techniques to tailor my sessions for each unique situation. I have extensive training in Attachment-Focused Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) which is supported by extensive research and has yielded remarkable results in trauma treatment. When working with couples I utilize Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and The Gottman Method, recognized as two of the most effective forms of couples counseling which underscores my commitment to marital success. Additionally, I integrate approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy to provide a comprehensive therapeutic experience.
My ultimate goal is to empower clients with the tools and knowledge needed to create positive transformations in their lives. Throughout the therapeutic journey, I take a holistic approach, considering your environment, personal history, and interpersonal dynamics to help you thrive within your unique ecosystem.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with a Bachelor of Science in Human Services from Oregon State University and a Master's of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from George Fox University. I enjoy staying active and spending time outdoors with my family. If you want help connecting with your spouse or overcoming past trauma please reach out.
