I am a native English speaker, psychotherapist, EMDRIA/EMDR Europe-accredited consultant, and a trainer working in the UK, the Arab countries, and online. As a qualified teacher with over 30 years of experience in teaching and training, I specialise in working with complex and developmental trauma, EMDR, the body, ego states and dissociative parts.
Trained in the US and Europe, I have had the privilege of living and teaching in West Asia after 7 October 2023, and learning at least a little about life in Arab countries in extraordinarily difficult circumstances. In 2025, I taught for EMDR Lebanon in Beirut and the Middle East and North Africa Trauma Alliance (MENATA) in Dubai and was a keynote speaker at the EMDR UK Association annual conference, before returning to teach at MENATA’s 2nd Annual Trauma Conference, then independently and for the University of Jordan in Amman. Further teaching has been on hold due to the situation – it is hard for people to focus on advanced EMDR courses at the moment – but I continue to support my colleagues, clients and friends, there and in the diaspora, as best I can, and consider myself the lucky one to be in touch with them.
As an EMDR consultant, I integrate many different modalities into Attachment-Focused EMDR, including The Progressive Approach to EMDR, integrative, relational psychotherapy, Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), ego state therapy, the Structural Dissociation Model, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Experiencing, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, yoga therapy and transpersonal psychotherapy.
My approach is very practical and empowering, helping people to overcome suffering and grow.
