Sakeena is a licensed clinical social worker practicing in Southern California. She received her Master of Social Welfare degree from UCLA and has since pursued specialized training in trauma, attachment, parenting, and relationships. In addition to utilizing Attachment-Focused EMDR (which is her primary approach), she integrates her training from the Trauma Resiliency Model (a body-centered model) to support clients in their healing. Sakeena is also trained in spiritually integrated care and anti-oppressive / social justice oriented practices that provide additional lenses through which she supports her clients. Coming from a biracial/multicultural background, Sakeena is familiar with navigating diverse perspectives and welcomes folks of all backgrounds and life experiences into her practice.
