As a psychologist, I have worked 16+ years, serving many diverse clients, helping them to resolve problems, restore balance in their lives, feel whole again, and express themselves genuinely and fully in the world.
My approach is integrative in that I draw from many treatment modalities; however, I often find myself using EMDR and Contemplative Psychology methods.
EMDR is helpful for trauma and many other issues, as it takes us beyond an exploration of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to address problematic reverberations in the body, which frees us to be ourselves.
Contemplative Psychology teaches us to work with the mind as an ally, building awareness, confidence, and compassion as we journey towards happiness in life.
