Kyla graduated from Southeastern University in 2006 with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and graduated from Florida State University in 2008 with her Master’s degree in Social Work. She has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2010. Her area of specialty is working with partners who have been betrayed by their partner through porn addiction, sex addiction, or infidelity as well as working with partners in destructive relationships, including physical, emotional, or spiritual abuse. She also enjoys coming alongside clients who experience anxiety, have other current or past traumas, or those who are struggling with self-worth. She utilizes Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and EMDR.

Her desire for clients who are or have experienced betrayal or a destructive relationship is to restore a sense of safety and trust, rebuild healthy connection with themselves and others and feel empowered to live free from betrayal and harm.
