My psychotherapy work is informed by the intention to offer an individualized approach to helping each person I meet to adapt, grow and thrive with life challenges. We face so many different challenges at different times in our lives: traumatic experiences and loss, relationship issues, persistent pain, depression, anxiety, insomnia, and other forms of stress and illness.
My approach prioritizes what is important and meaningful to each individual. I’m informed by a variety of therapeutic approaches that include the body and mind including: Somatic Experiencing, Focusing, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and Cognitive Therapy, and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) including Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD and EMDR.
I love working with people who are curious and open to exploring new ways of seeing and being at times of transition in their lives.
