I am a relational, psychodynamic and somatic therapist who strives to use a feminist, anti-racist, anti-oppression lens in my work.
I have received additional training in psychodynamics, mindfulness, somatic based psychotherapy (the Hakomi Method) and attachment-focused eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (AF-EMDR). I welcome children (ages 5+), teens and adults into my practice as well as individuals of diverse racial, ethnic, socioeconomic, and ability identities, and those of various faiths.
I work collaboratively with my clients to help determine what healing looks like to them. My job is to help my clients gain insight into what’s working and what’s not working for them, gain a sense of what they want in their lives, and then cultivate it until they have a strong felt sense of this in their bodies. I have been humbled by the power of attachment-focused EMDR to help build resilience and heal trauma.
