Bio

DaHyun Chun, PhD is a clinical psychologist who enjoys working with individuals from different backgrounds. She uses various psychotherapy approaches to address a wide range of difficulties including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, identity issues, grief, eating disorders, acculturation, and relational difficulties.

Dr. Chun’s approach to therapy is client-centered and interactive and often promotes awareness of one’s feelings in the here and now.

DaHyun has a keen interest in helping individuals who struggle with trauma related issues, identity, self-worth, and shame. Her passion for treating trauma heightened as she worked with students who reported PTSD following the tragedy at Virginia Tech and often utilizes EMDR to address such issues.
