I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 13 years of experience in direct clinical care. Early in my career, I worked exclusively with those who were experiencing symptoms of addiction in conjunction with mental health. Through this work, I witnessed how our genetics, environment and experiences shape our internal beliefs about ourselves as well as our automatic reactions. My practice is built around the belief that we all have the ability to heal and live a healthy, intentional life.
I practice with a psychodynamic lens that allows for an enhanced look into early experiences in one’s life, including attachment styles and traumas that continue to impact functioning. Since adding Attachment Focused EMDR into my practice, my clients have reprocessed their trauma on a deeper level and are forming healthier relationships with themselves and those around them. I am passionate about helping those who are impacted by addiction and trauma find a safe space to begin or continue their work toward healing.
