Bio
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who provides therapy to individuals 18 and over. I graduated from Fordham University’s Graduate School of Social Service in 2013. I have worked extensively with the military veteran population, survivors of intimate partner violence and children of family abuse. I have acted as both a supervisor and therapist in community mental health settings, and as Assoc. Clinical Director and supervisor for a telehealth startup.
I provide a safe environment based on mutual respect and collaboration, with emphasis on the client as a valued contributor and decision-maker. I offer candid feedback as we, together, track your progress in areas that continue to present difficulties. I value insight, reflection and attunement as a means for transforming the impact of past/current stressors. I pay special attention to systems and the complex dynamics of power and privilege, race/ethnicity, gender [identity], sexual orientation, socioeconomic status and spirituality. My integrative approach incorporates aspects of interpersonal neurobiology, relational and psychodynamic modalities to assist clients in gaining deeper insight into themselves, their patterns of behavior, and perspective on their lives.
