I am an integrative dietitian and licensed professional counselor in private practice and am board certified in advanced diabetes management, diabetes education, and sex therapy. I received basic training in attachment focused EMDR, an evidence-based trauma treatment intervention. In my practice I strive to integrate the fields of clinical mental health counseling and psychotherapy and dietetics in caring for my patients.
Currently I serve on the Oregon Board of Licensed Dietitians, the Editorial Board for Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer Journal, – Supportive Care in Cancer, and the Research Advisory Board with the Community-Academic Consortium for Research on Alternative Sexualities. Back in 2000, I founded and managed for ten years Supplies For Life, a 501(c)3 charitable corporation supplying medical equipment and supplies to hospitals in Ukraine from the USA and Europe. I have served as a public policy board member, consumer protection coordinator, and reimbursement chair for the Oregon Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
In my free time I enjoy my pet emus and especially Scarlet whom I raised from an egg.
